Devils Shanghai: 140 stages and twelve study puzzles
Remove matching pairs whose tops and at least one side are free. Seven evolving guides accompany 35 groups of stages, with conversations before and after each group. Use hints, undo and restart, or Shanghai-specific reveal, shuffle and pair-removal items.
Explore the Shanghai mode →Angels’ evolution matches: 35 stages
Seven characters appear in five forms, from their original form to their ultimate evolution. In this mode, separate from the story, finish first overall in an East-only match and read the epilogue to advance. Enjoy changing artwork and dialogue.
Get to know four companions at the garden table
Read dialogue shaped by final match placement, revisit character and event notes, and reread finished conversations. Across twelve chapters, their concerns gradually come into view.
Earn in the story, use in free matches
Finish a story or evolution East-only match in first place overall and read the epilogue to earn one randomly chosen assist ticket. Replaying and clearing the same chapter also earns a reward. One ticket improves your starting hand; the other assists a draw after riichi.
For free matches only; consumed at match start. Wins are not guaranteed, and tickets are not returned after an unsuccessful effect or an abandoned match. Item matches do not count toward regular statistics.
Chapter progression and detailed ticket rules →From dealing to the winning hand
Watch tiles dealt in groups of four, character close-ups on riichi, ron and tsumo, and animated points won and player balances. Skip dealing or use the reduced-effects setting.
