Open a video through the file picker. This app plays your local files; it is not a URL player for video streaming services.

Playback position is saved for each file so you can return to the same video and continue watching.
Supported formats and playback limits
Supported formats include FLV, AVI, WMV, MPEG/MPG, MKV, MP4 and MOV. Playback depends on the codec and your device, even when files have the same extension.
DRM-protected videos and files that require a dedicated official player are not supported.
If a video will not open
Check that the file is accessible on your device and that read access is allowed. Check its codec and whether it is DRM-protected. Renaming a file extension does not convert the video.
