If I drink, does the counter reset?
No. Sober Island is built around a non-resetting design. Total elapsed time, money saved, and drinks avoided are preserved, and the day you drank is logged as data, not erasure. Recovery is rarely linear.
What if I get withdrawal symptoms?
See a doctor immediately. Tremors, sweating, severe anxiety, insomnia, and hallucinations may be alcohol withdrawal, which can be life-threatening. Please also see the helpline list in the support page.
Is there a moderation mode?
The current app supports a zero-drink (sober) mode only. A daily-limit moderation mode is not currently available.
How do ads work?
There is no paid ad-removal option. If ads are displayed, the app uses Google AdMob banners and excludes alcohol-related categories.
What if I feel unwell?
See a healthcare provider immediately. This app is not medical advice and is a self-help tool, not a substitute for treatment of alcohol use disorder.
